Description

Jai Ghosh is an annual event organized by Competishun to honour the students who have cleared the JEE Mains and NEET exams. The event organizers sought to elevate the event’s branding and visual appeal to create a memorable experience for attendees. They partnered with MADnext to achieve this goal, focusing on design, printable materials, banners, prizes, and backdrops.

Challenge

  • Online Visibility: The event’s existing design and branding were outdated, lacking the vibrancy needed to attract a younger audience.
  • Inconsistent Branding: The event’s promotional materials, banners, and backdrops were not cohesive, leading to a disjointed visual experience. 
  • Limited Appeal: The prizes and award presentations lacked the visual impact necessary to leave a lasting impression on participants. 

Solutions

  • Comprehensive Design Overhaul: MADnext’s design team began by creating a new visual identity for the event. This included a logo, modern color palette, and updated typography. The new design is dynamic and energetic, reflecting the competitive spirit of the event while appealing to a broad audience.
  • Printable Materials: To ensure a cohesive experience, MADnext designed a range of printable materials, including flyers, brochures, and posters. These materials were crafted with the new branding elements, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. The designs were vibrant and eye-catching, helping to generate buzz and attract participants.
  • Banners and Backdrops: Recognizing the importance of visual appeal at the event itself, MADnext designed large-scale banners and backdrops. These designs incorporated the event’s branding and were strategically placed around the venue to create an immersive experience. The backdrops, in particular, were designed to serve as photo-op spots, encouraging attendees to capture and share their experiences on social media.

  • Stronger Brand Identity: The event’s new visual identity created a cohesive and memorable experience, helping to establish Jai Ghosh as a premier event in its category.
  • Enhanced Attendee Experience: The strategic placement of banners and backdrops, along with the visually appealing prizes, contributed to a more engaging and memorable event experience.
  • Social Media Buzz: The photo-op spots and visually appealing prizes encouraged attendees to share their experiences online, generating organic promotion for the event.
