A name that belongs to no category and every one of them

How MADnext built DailyKin, a brand name, positioning, and narrative foundation for a wellness company designed to grow beyond categories.

The hardest naming projects are not the ones with no direction. They are the ones with endless possibilities.

DailyKin came to MADnext with a vision that extended across nutrition bowls, healthy snacks, peanut butter, oils, immunity products, and future lifestyle categories like skincare. The challenge was clear: create a name that feels relevant today and continues to grow with the brand tomorrow. Not just a name, a strategic foundation.

Four decision makers. One name.

This was more than a creative exercise. Four key stakeholders, each with a different perspective, had to align around a single name.

MADnext's role was not simply to generate options, but to build a strategic rationale strong enough that every decision maker could see the same story behind the final choice, research before creativity, strategy before naming.

What Discovery Revealed

The project began with brand discovery sessions to uncover what the business truly stood for.
The insight changed everything.
DailyKin was not selling products.
It was delivering care through everyday wellness.
Nutrition, immunity, and skincare were simply different expressions of the same promise.
Rather than creating a functional or category specific name, MADnext explored a territory built around trust, belonging, and human connection.
A care brand rather than just a wellness brand.

The Name

DailyKin

Two simple words working together.

Daily represents consistency, routine, and healthy habits.

Kin represents family, trust, care, and belonging.

Together they create a brand that becomes part of everyday life while caring for people like family.
The name is easy to pronounce, memorable, globally accessible, and flexible enough to expand across future product categories without losing relevance.
When the strategic thinking was presented, all four stakeholders aligned around the same story.
That confirmed the right name had been found.

The Positioning

Naming was only the beginning.
MADnext extended the engagement into brand positioning to establish a foundation that could grow with the business.
Research revealed that many wellness brands position health as sacrifice.
DailyKin challenged that belief by presenting wellness as something both effective and enjoyable.
Not something consumers endure. Something they look forward to.

A simple line carrying two promises.

Good for youreflects nutrition, quality, and long term wellbeing.

Good to you represents comfort, enjoyment, and genuine care.

Together, the tagline communicates a philosophy that balances function with experience.

A positioning that naturally extends across every category DailyKin may enter in the future.

Good FOR you
GOOD to You

The
Brand
Story

DailyKin was built on a simple belief.

People should never have to choose between what works and what feels good. Whether it's nutrition, immunity, or future skincare products, every offering should care for people while fitting naturally into everyday life.

That story remains consistent as the brand grows because it defines the relationship with the customer rather than the products themselves.

What Was Delivered

Not just a name.
A strategic platform built to support a growing wellness ecosystem for years to come.

The Takeaway

A great brand name should never describe only what a company sells today.
It should create room for everything the company can become tomorrow.
DailyKin says nothing about nutrition, snacks, or skincare.
It says everything about how the brand wants to show up in people's lives.
Consistently.
Warmly.
Like family.
